Lots of new stuff to share! First, we have a big show coming up in Edmonton, with local group Tupelo Honey! Its at the pawn shop on March 31st, tickets are selling out fast so get yours online today! They are $10 each and all the proceeds are going to the iHuman charity. Good stuff! (also, Craig “The Craig” is celebrating his birthday there on that day, so come wish him a happy bday!)

Now for some updates closer to the date of this post… which is March 4th by the way. We have an acoustic set at Hooliganz pub on Wednesday March 7th. We are departing on a week and a half long tour of BC starting March 14th in Kamloops! We can’t wait for these shows as its been far too long since we have been on tour. Check out the shows section of the site to see a list of all our tour dates!

We also have some more awesome news, but your going to have to wait for that!

Hey, did you get a new haircut? Cause we got a new website! That’s right, Craig “The Craig” has been hard at work for us! He can shred AND he’s good with computers. We’re one lucky band! So browse through the site and be sure to let us know what you think of our new digs.

Whitey and Drama have fled the country to Brazil until the end of February, but Carlos, Jordan and Craig will remain busy for the next few weeks playing some acoustic shows and refining some demos of new songs until they return. February and March hold the first batch of shows for the new year including some dates in BC and Alberta, so be sure to check the tour page for confirmed dates in a club near you. We have lots planned so make sure you stay tuned!

We also have a mailing list now, be sure to sign up on the right side of this page for monthly goodies from Mars & Venus, EXCLUSIVE to subscribers only! We also have a new blog! We are entered in another contest now with the Hard Rock Cafe, and would love if you all continued to show your support by voting for us! Hey everyone!

Well it’s been another interesting couple months for Mars and Venus! A lot has gone on from visiting new cities, interviews to member changes. So here we go…..

Firstly we’d like to thank everyone who we’ve met in Kamloops and Golden BC for such an awesome time! You guys made the trip completely worth it and we can’t wait to come back and play for you guys again. We’ll be heading over to Penticton this weekend and we are very excited!

Big shout out to Canmore AB for also showing us a great time! Everyone we met there was very cool and we are gonna come back as soon as we can!

We’ve recently done an interview for Beatroute Magazine. It should be out around the beginning of October, stay tuned…

Now for the major news…

Our good friend Miller Fernandez has unfortunately parted ways with Mars and Venus once more. There were many factors in the decision and we wish him nothing but the best in whatever he chooses to do. Thank you Miller for everything.

With Miller’s departure we now have a hole to fill in Mars and Venus and the man we found to fill that hole is Craig Sartor!!! We are very excited to have Craig with the band! We’ve already played a few shows with Craig and the chemistry is amazing. He brings a wide array of experience, skill and dedication that will help us take that next step as band. We love Craig!
